Definitely much better than the cheap glass screen guards and much more durable than them. The matte screen guards are the best ones I purchased and I am not switching to any other screen guards. The matte screen guards also give a premium feel to the phone.

I ordered without expecting much, but I have to say, it's really good. Was searching for a skin, and was never getting one, finally found it on Softer. Perfect fit for the phone. The adhesive around the edges of the film can be improved.
